More
than a new coat of paint...
--Before--

--After--
This
cottage on Lake Charlevoix's Horton Bay was a unassuming
little hide-away with a remarkable view and a modern
interior. We added a garage, re-supported it
structurally,
doubled the second story and polished it all off with
a fresh exterior scheme, To see more of this project,

Greystone
is a deceivingly large complex of cabins, additions
and connections. It appears as a quaint cottage, but
wraps itself across its site on Mullett Lake.
At this point, two of three phases have been completed
adding not only a garage with extra storage and bedrooms,
but also extending the master suite and a full overhaul
of the kitchen and sunrooms.

New Life for an Old Log Cabin

This large natural log structure
in Point Nipigon, MI started as a very nice, but small
cabin many years ago. Its new owners decided to
keep it, and adapt it to their modern needs. The
remodel included a new entryway connecting it to the
existing garage, a new living room, kitchen and dining
room, and new finishes and furnishing throughout.
The original stone fireplace was preserved entirely.

This modern two-story was gorgeous. The owners
decided they needed more space without really
changing the feel of the home. The result was a
large addition with new appointments and a reworked
master suite, that while updating the level of
finish and flow maintained the integrity of the
original concept and its view of Lake Huron.
