| Old Market's New
Look

This old neighborhood corner store in Indian River, MI got a new
lease on life when a new owner took over. We examined the
theme of the surrounding area and decided on a rustic timber
structure. Nearly 70% of the original building was
demolished and rebuilt to this design. The new facility is
appealing and complimentary to the area while remaining modern
and functional.

This is the main
office and Harbor Springs, MI. location for Tom's Mom's Cookies.
This historic downtown location started its life as a workman's
shop and thru several occupants, came to house the now famous
'Tom's Mom's Cookies'. Our design team put the
building back in good standing by adding lavatory facilities, a
small addition and a new foundation throughout.

Historic Restoration...not quite.
--Before--

--After--
This cottage in historic Harbor Springs came to us with a
challenge. Modernize the existing interior and layout,
but restore the exterior to its original 'turn of the
century' appearance. After studying photographs taken
of the cottage by its original owner in the early 1900's,
and teamed with a great local builder, we set out.
Much of the project entailed removal of many layers of
remodeling and modification from various style's. In
doing so we have returned this cottage to its original
charm. Phase two of this project is an extensive
addition of kitchen and living space in the rear of the
building. To see pictures of the addition,
